I’m an undergraduate student pursuing a B.Sc. in Computer Science at the University of Campinas (Unicamp). Also, I hold an Associate’s Degree in Information Technology from the Technical High School of Campinas (Cotuca).

Currently, I’m a undergraduate researcher at Recod.ai, the Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence and Inference in Complex Data at Unicamp’s Institute of Computing, supervised by Prof. Sandra Avila. My research focuses on Zero-Shot Learning applied to Computer Vision, with emphasis on facial age estimation under constraints on the use of children’s images, and is part of the “Araceli: Artificial Intelligence in the Fight Against Child Sexual Abuse” project.

Previously, I worked at iFood as a Software Engineering Intern and later as a Software Engineer. On the Search team, I worked on large-scale backend services and collaborated closely with data scientists to integrate NLP models such as word2vec into production, enabling semantic search capabilities. I later joined the Cardstack foundational team, where I helped redesign Go-based backend services that power iFood’s Server-Driven UI platform and worked on internal platforms for dynamic content management and A/B testing. I also contributed to internal Go libraries, including a standardized logger and a Kafka client, as well as shared service templates used across multiple backend projects.

At the Hub for Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Architectures (H.IAAC), I’ve also researched Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) applied to human GPS trajectory generation, supervised Prof. Paula Dornhofer Paro Costa. Additionaly, I’ve worked at NeuralMind as a Machine Learning Engineer on model deployment, cloud infrastructure, and chatbot safety, particularly on the development of guardrails for conversational AI systems.

Beyond work and education, I led Iris Data Science Unicamp, an AI-focused student organization, as president, and I was member of MaratonIC, Unicamp’s competitive programming study group. I have also given public talks on software engineering and artificial intelligence, including presentations on LLMs and distributed systems.
